Well here is my first blog

What the hell is "social networking" and what does myspace/twitter/facebook/bloggin offer that you cant get using the phone or even email ?

I really dont understand twitter at all, the idea of messaging every time you need to have a dump is so banal, or maybe I just dont have enough "friends".

Bloggin is a lot more interesting though, the chance to spout forth crap about politics at length is very apealing as much of my life is invested in 3 x 2 year olds so most of the time is spent talking about potty training and Dora the farking explorer.

Now here is the bloggin conundrum why do it and who will read it?

Is this whole bloggin thing about preening your feathers and seeming self important or is there more to it? Is anyone really going to read this and why are they doing it? Do I really have anything new to say? How do you balance not giving away to much personal information while still having the freedom to write whatever you want?

This blog is now a (not very scientific) test of some of these issues, why do I write, who will read it and does anyone (other than me) really give a toss.

If you need proof that astrology is total bunk and exists simply for hippie types to talk about themselves at length (and maybe get laid if they are lucky) I have it!
My three girls were born 1 minute apart. They are SOOOO different I wonder how the hell they can even have the same parents. 3 corners of a triangle.
