I cant believe wine is so cheap these days!
I have never seen so many good wines under $15, considering a good wine was $15 ten years ago the value is astounding, doubt it can last much longer.
Anyway 2 light red gems I just found for Christmas
Jacobs Creek Temparanillio $7 a bottle Vintage Cellars (mixed dozen price)
I am not a huge Merlot fan and just tried a Tempranillo (spanish grape) for the first time, what a revleation, light but not boring and at that price what a steal. I would not be suprised if this grape becomes one of the most popular styles in Australia over the next few years.
Hardy's Twice Lost 2008 Shiraz Cabernet $10 a bottle Vintage Cellars (mixed dozen price)
I usually hate Rose, usually lolly water, this however is a bit drier and actually very good, the best thing is everyone seems to like it, both white and red drinkers and its perfect for Christmas
